First stop is Carmel Arts & Design District
Meander down one of America’s best Main Streets, according to Country Living Magazine, where flower baskets are blooming and restaurant patios are booming. Enjoy live music and al fresco dining at Muldoon’s, The Pint Room, Bazbeaux or Bub’s Burger & Ice Cream.
Our next stop is Midtown Plaza
Find Midtown Plaza between the Carmel Arts & Design District and Carmel City Center along the Monon Trail. The plaza features a lawn and TV screen to watch sporting events and movies, a stage for live music, ping pong tables and plenty of places to sit.
Next is The Center for the Performing Arts
The Palladium, a world-class internationally-renowned concert hall, anchors the Center for the Performing Arts campus. The schedule is music to anyone’s ears, featuring symphony orchestras, jazz bands, country stars and more. Walk across Central Green to see intimate plays and performances at The Studio and the Tarkington.
Before the curtain rises, enjoy upscale dining and shopping at the Carmel City Center adjacent to the Palladium. Sip cocktails and share appetizers at divvy or grab a glass of wine at Matt’s Wine Bar.
Wait! We need to make one more stop at Monon Trail
The Monon Trail is the pedestrian highway for bikers, runners, dog walkers and more. The paved pathway takes you north to Westfield and south to Indianapolis. Meander along the trail to discover local brews and spirits at Sun King Spirits or Union Brewing Company, or grab a bite to eat at Jamaican Reggae Grill and local boutiques.
